We decided to put together our take on a wintery wonderland Christmas tablescape. Inspired by one of Germany’s most famous castles, Neuschwanstein Castle in Bavaria. Neuschwanstein means New Swan Castle.” For this table we are using our round damask white table cloth and our beautiful gold trimmed lace centerpiece. I have a few vases that I knew would work with this table. I used white vases and vintage swan vases to carry our theme and our beautiful pewter plate with Neuschwanstein on it.
When you think of Bavaria you think of snow for Christmas so we wanted to keep using our Essex dinnerware that is white with gold trim and gold chargers from Hobby Lobby to give it that elegant look. We used many vintage pieces here, like the swan sleigh here as well as the vases. The white trees were purchased at Hobby Lobby last season as well as the reindeer.
